Magazine Found Poem (Underlined Words Were The Cutouts)

Be bad,
stay in bed an extra 15 minutes.
Stop counting the dollars and cents,
and try to just imagine what a penny can do.
Vacation in the city,
who cares about cellulite and belly fat?
Dig deep into Pandora's Box,
and pull out some fresh new dreams.
Promise to smile more,
be colorful,
and savor every sweet feeling.
Enjoy the rewards of your thoughts and words,
let your differences melt into the world of evolution.
Time is real!
And it will get lost.
In the end,
when your playlist is finally over,
you'll be surprised.

My Interesting Words Poem

Shy silhouettes,
in suffocating sunlight,
wandering aimlessly in the cold,
searching through their torn realities,
trying desperately to grab onto a shred of something real.
Every footstep they take
beaming with silent bravery
and courage.
Silver thoughts burning away
in a melting pot.
They try to speak,
try relentlessly
to collect syllables
and create words.
Sadly,
they have no lips or tongues.
They were snapped away
with a bitter electric touch.
Tangles desires leading slowly but surely,
to transparent smiles.
The emotions they once had were
heartlessly dragged away
down the dusty staircase,
of a dark abandoned house.
They explore the mangled staircase,
and travel the fractured sidewalks
attempting to ignore the spinning words of betrayal,
shooting from the mouths of the living.
The lost magnetic souls,
attracted to the slithering rumors
and sharp beams of light,
trying to resist its gravitation.
Eventually they move on from this place,
to find peace.
